สวัสดีครับ พี่น้องสมาชิกชมรมฯ ต้องบอกว่าน่าเสียดายสำหรับผู้ที่ไม่ได้ไปเล่นที่สนาม St.Andrews 2000 และ กรีนวัลเล่ย์ ที่จ.ระยอง ทั้งสนาม , อาหาร, บรรยากาศ ขอบอกว่าเยี่ยมจริงๆ ไม่เป็นไร ปีหน้าเราจะไปอีก เพราะจะมีเพิ่มอีก 18 หลุม

Royal Thai Army Sports Center (Old Course)

Royal Thai Army Golf Course is one of the famous good courses with the long history more than 20 years in Thailand. The facilities is developed for army officers to promote their sport lives, but the public also can play. In the course, there are many big trees which separate the hold and hole. It is very difficult to reserve a tee-off time on weekends as many people want to play here.

The Royal Thai Army Golf Course is well designed for rainy season play. With water run-off going to the klongs that run along both sides of the fairways, the rains don't affect this course as much as others. The New Course is very tight and has alot of water and bunkers.

สำหรับเส้นทางเราเริ่มต้นที่ มอเตอร์เวย์ วิ่งไปเพลินๆ Exit พัทยา แล้ววิ่งไปเพลินๆอีกจะเจอป้าย แยกระยองกับพัทยา (ก็โยนหัวโยนก้อยว่าจะไปทางไหนดี. ไม่ใช่...ไม่ใช่) ก็ให้ไปทางระยองจากจุดนี้ไปอีกประมาณ 30 กิโลเมตร จะเจอสี่แยกไฟแดง หญ่าย.....หญ่าย มีป้าย “บ้านฉาง” เลี้ยวขวา ไปอีก 6 กิโลเมตร ซ้ายมือจะมีป้าย “ระยองกรีนวัลเล่ย์และเซนต์แอนดูร” นั่นแหละ เลี้ยวเข้าไปเล้ยยยยย! กะเวลาประมาณ 2 ชั่วโมงจากกรุงเทพฯ เผื่อเวลาทานข้าวและหลงทางด้วย

Golf Course Overview

There are some adjustments that you must remember to make to your game. First, there is an element of elevation to either the green or the tee box on almost every hole, and in many cases there can be very substantial. You will need to bring your lob wedge and should use balata balls to make approach shots stick. Second, there is wind to factor into almost every shot – when you combine this with the elevation factor it can have dramatic effects on your club selection. Third, the sand in the bunkers is more like powdered grey clay, which is heavier that what we’re used to in Thailand – it plays difficultly and makes the ball perform differently. Fourth, the greens are extremely large and have more undulations than are normally found in Thailand, make your first putt extremely important. Fifth, there are the par 6’s.

The two par 6’s present one of the most memorable and singularly unique features of this course and they add an entirely different challenge. The additional long fairway shot that must be played demands an entirely different dimension in concentration and course management. Both holes really do take four good shots to get to the green, and both greens are large, split-tiered affairs guarded by bunkers and water.

สวัสดีครับ! สมาชิกชมรมกอล์ฟเซนต์คาเบรียล ก่อนอื่นก็หวังว่าชาวชมรมฯจะได้ส่งจิตและกำลังใจให้พระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัว ทรงหายประชวรโดยเร็วและมีพลานามัยแข็งแรง อยู่เป็นมิ่งขวัญของปวงชนชาวสยามต่อไป ...ขอทรงพระเจริญ....
ก็ดีใจที่ประเทศไทยของเราเริ่มเห็นแสงสว่างกันบ้างแล้ว เนื่องจากได้ปลดล๊อค นาย 3 ปอ อุ๊ย ! ไม่ใช่ 3 กกต. ก็หวังว่าเราจะได้เลือกคนดีมีความสามารถและมีคุณธรรมขั้นสูงมาบริหารประเทศ และหวังว่าจะเป็นปีสุดท้ายของความห่วยแตก! เพื่อประเทศจะได้เดินหน้าอย่างยั่งยืน และคนไทยจะได้ยิ้มแย้มอย่างมีความสุขกันซะที และพวกเราชาวกอล์ฟจะได้ตีกอล์ฟด้วยความเบิกบานใจไร้กังวล.

Uniland Golf & Country Club - SG Golf 164th tournament

General overview

Uniland is situated in beautiful countryside surrounded by residential units. The golf course measures 6,982 yards from the blue tees. The fairways are undulating and tend to slope off towards lateral water hazards. Clever placement of bunkers calls for accuracy and some long hitting, especially on the par-five holes. The dog-leg seventeenth is 641 yards from the back tee and even teh ladies have to play this hole as a 581 yarder. The greens are in good condition, despite the fact that the course only opened in late 1996.

Royal Thai Air Force Golf Course (Dhupatemi) - SG Golf 163rd tournament

Royal Thai Air Force Golf Course (Dhupatemiya R.T.A.F. G.C.) is operated as a public course with 18 holes and it is located near Don Muang International Airport. The deep and big trees separate the holes and make a beautiful scenery with the layout of water hazards. Players can enjoy each hole to challenge and play at a reasonable price.

สวัสดีจ้า! ท่านสมาชิกชมรมกอล์ฟเซนต์คาเบรียล เดือนมิ.ย.-ก.ค. ก็เป็นช่วง World Cup Fever แล้ว ยังไงก็อย่าลืม! มาตีกอล์ฟกันบ้างน่ะครับ ปีนี้ทางชมรมฯคิดว่าจะร่วมกันทำบุญ เพื่อสร้างห้องปลดทุกข์ (ห้องน้ำ) ให้แก่เด็กนักเรียนโรงเรียนนุ่มประสงค์วิทยา ศาลายา ซึ่งเราได้เคยบริจาค โต๊ะ ,เก้าอี้นักเรียนไปแล้วเมื่อ 2 ปีก่อน หวังว่าคงจะได้รับการสนับสนุนจากสมาชิกเป็นอย่างดี น้องๆนักเรียนอนาคตของชาติคงได้ปลื้มในน้ำใจของพวกเรา เอ้า! ขออนุโมทนา สาธุ! ขอให้บุญนี้จงเป็นเกราะคุ้มครองให้ทุกท่านผ่านพ้นสิ่งที่ไม่ดีด้วยเทอญ!

Designer Greg Norman used plain grasses, reeds and lots of sand to create an illusion of a seaside links right in the middle of one of Thailand's biggest housing developments. This beautiful layout is enhanced by natural streams, lakes and an abundance of strategically-placed sculptured sand traps. It is a long, tough par 72 and accurate shot making is needed on almost every hole. The 3rd, 4th and 5th holes are all played to island greens, as is the short twelfth.

The clubhouse facilities are first-class.

St. Gabriel's Golfers met at The Royal Gems Golf & Sports Club this past Friday, May 19th for another get together and friendly golf competition. Over 70 Golfers show up to try and test the difficult course.

The Royal Gems Golf & Sports Club,known as "The Crown Jewel" of Thailand's golf courses, is one of the best course in South East Asia. With our concept of "Whole in one", you will enjoy our challenging 18 hole par 72 of USGA standard plus prestigious Sports Club, Lodge and Condominium.

Playing to 7,155 yards from the blue tees, the golf course layout features enormous area of deep blue lakes, wide and tree-lined fairways, deep rough, big bunkers and huge undulated greens.

About Saint Gabriels Alumni Golf Association

St. Gabriel’s College was founded in 1920 by Reverend Brother Martin de Tour; moreover, he himself was the architect designing the building. On February 6th, 1922 the building was first used.

From past to present St Gabriel’s College has been continually developed by many generations of Brothers of St Gabriel both foreigners and Thais. Accordingly, the institute has had a very good reputation and has taught youngsters to enter Thai society who, upon entering, have worked in various professions.

St. Gabriel's Alumni Golf Association was established to reunite St. Gabriel's granduates around the sport of golf. The Golf Assocation was formed in 1993 and now over 5000 members strong. So join us in keeping the St. Gabriel's school tradition, meet up with your old school mates and help appreciating local wisdom, caring for the neediest, and helping the less fortunate ones.
